Baked Apple Martini 🎦

Nothing evokes autumn better than the tantalizing fragrance of a freshly baked apple pie. This martini manages to balance the flavors of sweet fruit and classic spices with the underlying warmth of spirits. It’s just what you want to serve as a desert cocktail for Thanksgiving celebrations.

ingredients

  • 3 oz apple cider, or unfiltered apple juice
  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz Apple-Pie-Simple Syrup, plus more for the rim (Bar Basics Simple Syrup Video Link)

Spread a thin layer of the spiced sugar on one plate and a thin layer of simple syrup on the second plate. Coat the rim the cocktail glass with the syrup and roll in the sugar. Combine all of the ingredients in cocktail shaker and shake until well chilled. Strain into the chilled cocktail and garnish with an apple ring and a cinnamon stick.
